European Community Champions is a three year Grundtvig funded Partnership project involving partners in education and vocational training from Kerigma in Portugal, Mazovian Teacher Training Institute in Poland, BICC in Slovakia, Virgin de los Remedios, Spain and Cumbria CREDITS, United Kingdom. A series of eight workshops analysing and sharing best practice in lifelong learning have been delivered across the partner countries, and have resulted in the production of a website and toolkit of resources and information. The workshops delivered have been on a variety of subjects from the use of ICT in Education to Evaluation of Learning and Quality Systems. The Project culminated in a Final Workshop at the House of Commons in London in June 2009. In addition to the tangible outcomes such as the website and toolkit, the partners have developed excellent working relationships and friendships, and have a greater depth of understanding of each others’ cultures and working practices. |
